Horner School

We provide English Language Classes for adults throughout the Year. Our courses can be commenced on any Monday.

Coffee Room and Garden

Coffee room and garden for the exclusive use of our students and staff. Fresh coffee & tea are available from 08.30 to 17.00 Monday to Friday.  Perfect place to meet and make new friends.

Cambridge Advanced Course and Semi-Intensive Course 30School Library

The self study library is located in the basement of our main building No. 40 Fitzwilliam Street Upper. The library is open from 08.30 to 17.30hrs Monday to Friday.  We have a selection of English language materials available for self study purposes. We can also provide study materials for the main English language examinations.  If you are looking for an English reader or something special , just ask us at the school reception desk and we will be happy to find it for you.

Computers

We have a number of laptop computers now located in the school library.  It is also possible to print travel documents etc. Please ask at school reception for more details.

Interactive White Boards

Multi-Media Interactive Whiteboard technology combines the basic functionality of a whiteboard with full internet connectivity and gives the teacher the facility to display any website on the white board at the touch of a button.  Many of the school textbooks also have interactive material which can be displayed on the whiteboards .

Wireless Internet Access

The Horner School of English is fully WI-FI connected. As a result, students can access the internet directly from our classrooms on their laptops and other portable devices. Like our other facilities this service is completely free of charge.

Facilities Beside School

Horner School of English is located  just a short walk from Trinity College, National Art Gallery, Dublin Castle, Merrion Square and Grafton Street, the main shopping street with its many shops, pubs, cafes & restaurants.

We have a choice of restaurants, coffee shops & deli’s nearby, so you can easily pop out for a coffee and sandwich or eat in one of the many pubs and restaurants located all around the school. Pearse Street Train Station is just minutes away and most of our host families are conveniently located on this train line.
