Erasmus Courses at Horner School of English, Dublin Ireland
Erasmus+ is the EU’s funding support programme to promote education, training, mobility of educational staff and the sharing of best practice and ideas in European education for the period 2021-2027. The Erasmus+ staff mobility grant is an EU-funded grant to support and finance cooperation between institutions and to provide training for schools, vocational schools, higher education and university staff members.
Horner School of English is an Erasmus+ approved training centre, in Dublin City. We provide Erasmus courses for teachers & academic staff, Erasmus+ for higher education and vocational schools, we also arrange visits to companies for business & technical groups. We work closely with Erasmus+ organisers and their partner institutions to provide a personalised training programme for each project! All courses take place in Dublin City Centre at our main school building 40 Fitzwilliam Street Upper Dublin 02.
Erasmus+ allows participants to experience study abroad, gaining exposure to different academic systems, teaching styles, and cultural perspectives. The experience greatly enhances academic, personal & professional development.
Accommodation
You can choose from a number of Dublin accommodation options all pre-screened by the Horner School, some of which are within walking distance of the school. Students can choose to stay with a host family where they can experience Irish culture and practice English in a real-life setting. Alternatively there are self-catering university residence (shared) apartments and self contained Studio Living Apartments for those who prefer more independence during their stay. Social Programme – Experience Irish Culture.
Located in the heart of Dublin City, Horner School is located right next to the city’s best cultural and historical attractions. Everything is conveniently located on our doorstep! During your Erasmus training course in Dublin you can meet up with other participants and join our school organised programme of tours and excursions. Or if you prefer, you can design your own itinerary. We recommend a visit to Trinity College, Book of Kells and the National Museums located nearby on Merrion Square.
